Sleep And Mental Illness

My schedule is as consistent as it’s probably going to be.

I try and sleep overnight, even though I have a difficult time staying asleep.

By sleeping at night, I have some semblance of a life.

I definitely require 8-9 hours of rest most days.

When much of that is continuous, I will sometimes not need a nap.

It all depends though, I have some nights where I sleep for a full 9 hours, and nap two or three times during the day.

Once upon a time, I tried to not nap at all, but that was very difficult for me. Especially with the meds I’m on.

So, I do the best I can, because lowering the strength of my medication is not possible for me at this time.
