I Always Take My Meds As Prescribed

Many times throughout my journey, I’ve had medication issues.

I have not always responded well to treatment with certain meds. And, when my psychiatrist and I found the right meds for me, I needed to up their strength.

Looking back, it would have been nice if I had developed better coping techniques too (and, not needed such high dosages of the medication), but I know things worked out the way they did for a reason.

Today, I continue to be on high dosages of all my meds. And, I still have a lot of symptoms that I continually deal with.

I have always taken my meds as prescribed. Even with the difficult side effects.

Without the right meds for me, I’d likely find myself in a very painful (and possibly dangerous) situation.

This is why everyone needs access to good medication.

  1. I’m usually really on top of taking my meds, but the odd time I’ll forget. It becomes obvious very quickly if I forgot my bedtime meds because I can’t get to sleep.
